1 post · Joined 2021. #1 · Feb 24, 2021. I got a new P365 the other day and when I got home immediately noticed an issue (I know I should have tested at the store). Build: January 2021. Right out of the box I tested the trigger reset and noticed the slide will not rack while I have the trigger held. I've never heard of such a thing.No gouges or large marks on the slide either. Sig fixed these issues successfully with the recent upgrades (Gen 2). 2 possible solutions to the trigger bar spring issue are listed in the PDF report. However the longer frame on the P365 will make for a better shooter. Even with the 12-round extended mag in a std P365 I find I can handle and shoot the P365X better. It might be due to the slight flare at the base of the grip.Buy a standard P365, and the SAS slide. This lets you try the sights without committing to the gun, should you not like them. As with Paul' above ^^^, it's a whole lot simpler to buy or sell the slide than a whole gun. BTW, the SAS slide has run fine on two P365s; SIG must hold tight tolerances. About halfway down they talk about testing. To quote them: "Based on their experience with the P320, SIG developed an entirely new, enhanced drop test protocol for duty handguns. They dropped the P365, 574 times in 26 orientations as well as five drops at 6 feet on concrete." Primarily, the safety protrudes over the "stepped" pin that is mentioned in the videos that show how to install a flat trigger. I suggest you watch the videos that are available for the non-safety version and you will see there isn't any difference in the procedure. Sigs website says it will fit the Romeo Zero, Shield RMS-c, and J-Point red dots. Has anyone tried to mount the Holosun red dot on this ...BTW - it's reported the P365 have had a tendency to increase it's trigger pull over the last 4 years of manufacture. Initial reports were of pulls as low as 5 and fractions of a pound, now it's over 6+. I'm not carrying a trigger pull scale to check what's in the box before I leave the store but it's not a bad idea..
